The brief
Journaling helps, but a blank page is hard to face. The brief was a private, low-effort way to reflect: say what's on your mind and get something useful back.
What I built
A cross-platform app for iOS and Android, backed by a Python API, with voice transcription, AI analysis using OpenAI's GPT models and pattern recognition across entries. Each entry surfaces personal insights, recurring themes, action items and supportive feedback, and every journal stays private to its owner.
The result
Bootstrapped from idea to launch on both app stores and marketed to its first users with in-app subscriptions. It helped people notice patterns in their thinking and mood, and act on them to look after their mental wellbeing.
